What is a Dust sensor?
A dust sensor, as the name suggests, is an element that detects dust, and is used to detect particles floating in space, such as in general household environments and particle-controlled clean rooms. Air purifiers and air conditioners with built-in dust sensors are widely known for general household use. Something similar is a particle counter. It detects suspended particles based on the light scattering principle. It is possible to detect cigarette smoke and house dust that causes allergies.
