What is a servo amplifier?

A servo amplifier is a control device that controls a servo motor. A servo motor is a motor with a built-in encoder that detects the rotation angle. The displacement is fed back to the servo amplifier by the encoder. Each manufacturer's FA equipment achieves advanced drive control through control by a servo amplifier and high-precision rotational movement of a servo motor. Servo amplifiers are also called servo drivers by some manufacturers.
