What is a Sensor controller?
A sensor controller is an electronic device that receives signals from sensors and processes or controls those signals. Sensors measure various physical parameters such as temperature, pressure, humidity, and position, and their output signals are usually provided in analog or digital form. The sensor controller reads these signals, compares them to predefined thresholds, and performs the necessary actions based on the readings. For example, a temperature sensor might trigger the activation or deactivation of a cooling system. Additionally, a sensor controller may be responsible for sensor calibration, data logging, and aggregating data from multiple sensors to be sent to other systems.
