What is a PWM controller?
A PWM controller (Pulse Width Modulation Controller) is an electronic device used to regulate DC voltage. PWM works by varying the width of the pulses (on-time), which in turn controls the average power delivered to the load. It is commonly used for motor speed control, LED brightness adjustment, power supplies, audio amplifiers, and other applications. PWM controllers are highly efficient in energy conversion, minimizing energy loss and reducing heat generation. By adjusting the duty cycle (the ratio of on-time to off-time), the output power can be finely controlled. This technique helps improve power conversion efficiency and extends the lifespan of devices.
Application of PWM controller
1.Motor control: PWM controllers are used to control the speed of motors, enabling efficient and precise speed adjustments.
2.LED dimming: PWM controllers are used to adjust the brightness of LED lights, allowing for smooth dimming without flickering.
