What is a Demultiplexer?
A demultiplexer (Demux) is a device that splits a single input signal into multiple output signals. In contrast to a multiplexer (Mux), which combines multiple input signals into a single output, a demultiplexer performs the reverse function. It is commonly used in digital circuits and plays a critical role in data communication and signal processing.
The demultiplexer distributes a single input signal to a specified number of output signals based on control signals.
