What is a Pulse transformer?

A pulse transformer is a transformer for transmitting AC signals on a pulse waveform, not for the purpose of transmitting electric power. It is mainly installed in the communication circuit in electronic equipment. A pulse transformer consists of a magnetic core and windings, and has a structure in which two windings, a primary winding and a secondary winding, are wound around the magnetic core. Pulse transformers are electronic components with a long lifespan and high reliability, with almost no moving parts or components that deteriorate over time.
