What is a DC motor?
A DC motor is a motor that operates with a DC power supply. Generally, it often refers to a brushed motor. There are two types of electricity: DC power and AC power. A DC power supply is a power supply in which the direction of current is always unidirectional, while an AC power supply is a power supply in which the direction of current changes periodically. Translated into English, direct current is direct current and alternating current is alternate current. They are called DC power supply and AC power supply, respectively. Therefore, DC motors refer to motors that use DC power.
