What is a Brushed dc motor?

A brushed DC motor is, as the name suggests, a DC motor with brushes. A brush that contacts the commutator is provided to allow current to flow to the rotor, which is constantly rotating, and the structure is such that current can be supplied even when the motor is rotating. The brushes are mainly made of carbon and other materials, and as they rub against the commutator during use, they wear out, so they need to be replaced periodically. A DC motor consists of brushes, a commutator, a rotor and a stator.
