What is a Fluxer?

A fluxer is a device for applying flux, which is a soldering accelerator, when an automatic soldering device performs soldering. Soldering is an important quality-determining operation in the manufacture of electronic components and boards. In recent years, automatic soldering equipment has been introduced to reduce human costs and improve efficiency. By using a fluxer, it is possible to perform thin and uniform soldering by removing foreign matter and oxide film on the part to be soldered and reducing the surface tension.

Application of Fluxer

Fraxers are used in combination with automatic soldering equipment. Generally, solder contains flux, but it evaporates at a temperature close to the melting point of the solder. The solder bath of an automatic soldering device is always kept at a high temperature, so it is not possible to use flux-cored solder.　Therefore, flux-free solder is used and flux is applied separately by a fluxer. In this way, it is used for the purpose of improving the soldering quality of automatic soldering equipment.
