Fuel cell / List of 4 manufacturers
What is a Fuel cell?
A fuel cell is a device that converts chemical energy into electrical energy through a chemical reaction. It primarily works by reacting hydrogen with oxygen to produce electricity. Fuel cells generate energy by supplying fuel (usually hydrogen gas) and do not rely on external power sources. They are highly efficient and produce minimal harmful emissions such as CO2 and NOx, making them an environmentally friendly energy source. Fuel cells are used in a variety of applications, including in automobiles, homes, and commercial facilities, with hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) being particularly noteworthy.
Application of Fuel cell
1.Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles: Vehicles powered by hydrogen, producing no CO2 emissions, offering an environmentally friendly alternative to gasoline cars.
2.Home Fuel Cells: Used for providing electricity and heating in homes, offering a reliable energy source for residential use.
3.Backup Power for Commercial Facilities: Fuel cells are often used as backup power sources in large commercial facilities and data centers.
