What is a Clamp meter?
A clamp meter is a device that measures the current flowing through a circuit. A typical ammeter needs to be built inside a current circuit, which can be dangerous or dangerous. On the other hand, the clamp meter can measure the current simply by clamping a part of the electric wire part of the circuit from the outside, so there is no need to interrupt the circuit and work can be done quickly and safely.
Application of Clamp meter
It is used in situations where you want to simply know the current value flowing in the circuit. For example, it is used in various situations such as checking before and after energization in electrical work, and checking the energized part to investigate the cause when an electric circuit breaks down. It is also used for current measurement of 24-hour operation equipment, which requires inspection and maintenance without stopping the operation of the equipment in operation, by utilizing the fact that it is not necessary to disconnect the circuit, which is the greatest feature of the clamp meter.
