What is a Hygrometer?
The analog type includes dry and wet hygrometers, hair hygrometers, dew point type hygrometers, etc., and older ones have been used since around 1500. Basically it does not use electricity. Since errors are likely to occur, it is necessary to adjust maintenance and measurement conditions. Digital electronic hygrometers are sensors that use semiconductors, and are often combined with a temperature sensor to form a thermo-hygrometer. It is used for industrial purposes because it is small and easy to record data.
Application of Hygrometer
Hygrometers have long been used for public meteorological observations. In addition, hair hygrometers do not require electricity, so they are used in museums. As an industrial hygrometer, it is used in places where humidity is easily affected, such as agricultural greenhouse cultivation and mushroom cultivation, as well as medical and pharmaceutical factories. Thermo-hygrometers are increasingly being used to prevent heat stroke, and some are installed indoors where people are active, such as large gymnasiums, classrooms, and elderly homes. It is installed in air conditioners and used for automatic control.
