Particle Counter / List of 10 manufacturers
What is a Particle Counter?
It is used for the purpose of space management such as clean rooms where cleanliness is secured in advance. A light-scattering particle measuring instrument, which is one of several methods for measuring particle size and particle concentration, is called a particle counter. It is called a dust meter / dust monitor that is used for the purpose of measuring the general indoor and outdoor atmosphere, and is distinguished from the particle counter. The particle counter measures the number and particle size of particles (unit: 〇〇 / m3), while the dust meter / dust monitor measures more particles as mass concentration (unit: 〇〇mg / m3).
Application of Particle Counter
Particles are a source of pollution in all industries and affect yields in cutting-edge industries such as semiconductors and precision equipment, ensuring product safety in the medical, food, space, and nuclear fields. Particles are measured for cleanliness control. The finer the particles, the more difficult it is to clean them, so it is very important to control the number and particle size so that the particles do not adhere or float in advance. Particle measurement is required to be managed in all fields, such as for research purposes and to meet customer demands such as improving yield at the manufacturing site when cleanliness is stipulated by law, and it is suitable for each environment. The choice of equipment is important.
