What is a Electromagnetic current meter / Electromagnetic Flow Velocity Meter?
An electromagnetic flow velocity meter measures the flow rate of conductive fluids using Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction. When a conductive fluid, such as water or chemicals, flows through a magnetic field, it generates an induced voltage. This voltage, which is proportional to the flow velocity, allows for highly accurate flow measurement. Since electromagnetic flow meters have no moving mechanical parts, they experience minimal wear, ensuring a long service life and easy maintenance. Though limited to conductive liquids, they are not affected by viscosity, pressure, or temperature, making them reliable and stable. These meters are widely used in water management, wastewater treatment, chemical industries, and food and beverage production.
Application of Electromagnetic current meter / Electromagnetic Flow Velocity Meter
✅Water Management
Electromagnetic flow meters are used in municipal water systems to monitor water flow in pipelines, ensuring accurate supply management.
✅Wastewater Treatment Facilities
In wastewater treatment plants, electromagnetic flow meters measure the velocity of treated water to verify proper processing.
✅Chemical Industry
Chemical plants use electromagnetic flow meters to measure the flow of conductive chemical liquids, optimizing manufacturing processes.
✅Food and Beverage Industry
Electromagnetic flow meters measure the flow rates of beverages or liquid food in production lines, ensuring precise flow control and quality assurance.
