Carbon monoxide densitometers can be broadly divided into two types: environmental atmosphere and fixed source. Carbon monoxide is also contained in the exhaust gas, so its concentration may be high inside high-traffic roads and tunnels. In such cases, it will be installed in urban areas, tunnels, and measurement station buildings, and will be used for the environmental atmosphere. For fixed generation, it is used to measure the concentration of nitric oxide generated from specific facilities and equipment such as factory chimneys and gas combustors in ordinary households.
