What is a Differential pressure gauge?
The differential pressure gauge is used when you want to measure the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet at a certain point. If it's very simple, you can use two pressure gauges, but you have to judge it with the human eye. Therefore, the mainstream is that the pressure gauge is provided with a connection port on the high voltage side and the low voltage side to automatically display the differential pressure, or to automatically output a 4-20mA signal. Also, in a clean room where the internal pressure is always higher than the external pressure, it is necessary to confirm that the internal pressure is high before entering the room. Such a differential pressure gauge is called a micro differential pressure gauge and is attached to the upper part of the door of the room.
Application of Differential pressure gauge
If the differential pressure gauge is very small, it is attached to the upper part of the door of the clean room, and it is used to check that the inside of the clean room is constantly lifted and dust and dirt do not enter from the outside. In addition, it is often used in chemical factories. For example, when you want to know the amount of liquid in the tank, the amount of liquid is calculated by calculating the pressure difference between the pressure at the bottom of the tank and the air layer at the top of the tank. In addition, in the flow rate measurement by the orifice flow meter using Bernoulli's theorem, it is used to measure the differential pressure before and after the orifice. In addition to this, by calculating the pressure loss before and after the filter, it is possible to measure how much the filter is clogged and use it as a guide for replacement.
