What is a Crimp connector?
The crimp connector is used to treat the tip of electric wires such as cables, and the connector crimped to the tip of this cable is connected to the terminal block. If the metal wire of the cable is connected directly to the terminal block, it will become extremely unstable and may fall off or cause an accident. On the other hand, the crimp connector has terminals firmly fixed to the tip of the cable, so it is an indispensable item for electrical work and wiring of electronic devices. It is connected to the crimp connector terminal block. There are a wide variety of electrical wiring to suit your needs. The terminal shape includes a general round shape that is often used in electrical work, a square-tip open type with a bifurcated tip, and a plate-shaped plate-shaped terminal. There is also a type in which the crimped part is covered with nylon to insulate it.
Application of Crimp connector
Crimping connectors are used most of the time when using cables and signal lines. You can see that a large round crimp connector is used to connect to the breaker when drawing power from the wire. A crimp connector is also used for the terminals of the outlet when connecting the cable from the breaker to the outlet downstream. Crimping connectors are also used in electronic devices, and pin-type ones are very convenient because they can be used by inserting them into a breadboard after crimping them to the signal line.
