What is a DSUB connector?

DSUB connector is a standard of connector used for device connection. Developed in the United States, it has long been used primarily for video signal transmission ports between computers and peripherals, SCSI communication connection ports and printer connection ports, or game consoles. There are multiple specifications with different numbers of pins and pin arrangements, but at present, they are mainly used as RS232 standard connection ports for research equipment and analog connection ports for displays.
