What is a Flow switch?
A flow switch is a device that detects the instantaneous flow rate of fluids such as liquids and gases. There are various measurement methods, such as the impeller type that determines the flow rate from the number of rotations of the rotor, the volume/mass type that is suitable for measuring viscous liquids, and the electromagnetic type that detects minute amounts of fluid. A vortex flowmeter is a flowmeter with relatively low pressure loss that can be used for a wide range of fluid measurements, including liquids and gases. Since it can detect a wide variety of fluids with high accuracy, further spread is expected in the future.
