What is a Safety door switch?

A safety door switch is a safety device that is used to check the open/close status of safety fence doors and covers. Many industrial machines are subject to strong torque and pressure, and if the machine operates with doors or covers open, there is a possibility of personal injury. Therefore, it is often used as an interlock mechanism that prevents the device from starting when it is possible to enter the safety fence, or stops the device when the door opens.
