What is a Membrane switch?
A membrane switch is a switch that uses a "thin film" sheet, such as PET film, as a contact point on the circuit. Membrane switches are widely used as buttons for devices that require manual switch operation, such as home appliances and inspection equipment. Membrane switches have contacts on the switch circuit inside a sheet of membrane. By manually pressing the membrane, the switch is connected. Due to its structure, the switch part is not exposed to the outside air, so it can be said that the switch is extremely dustproof and waterproof. Membrane switches include products that use a disk inside to give a click feeling when the switch is pressed, and products that have characters and numbers printed on the surface film. Including small differences, it is very diverse.
