What is a Tape switch?

As the name suggests, a tape switch is a tape-shaped switch with a thin thickness, and is also called a pressure-sensitive switch. There are two thin electrodes on the top and bottom inside, and when force is applied in the thickness direction, the contacts of the electrodes are connected and current is supplied. In addition to being thin, it has a long length, so it can be sensed wherever you press it. There are many protrusions on the surface to make it easier to react. A switch with a similar structure and a larger area is called a mat switch.
