What is a Industrial 3d printer?
A 3D printer is a printer that can physically create shapes designed with 3D-CAD. Slice the designed shape into 2D layers and stack them one by one to build a 3D model. At first, the equipment was mainly for resin, but recently, 3D printers for not only resin but also metal are increasing. There are various types of printers for resin, including the ``stereolithography method,'' which uses ultraviolet curable resin to cure the resin, and the ``FDM method,'' which uses heat to melt and stack the resin.
Application of Industrial 3d printer
Industrial 3D printers are widely used mainly for prototyping resin products. When producing large quantities of plastic parts, such as injection molding, the cost of manufacturing molds is quite high. Therefore, we use a 3D printer to confirm the shape and solve any problems before starting full-scale mold production. It is also possible to manufacture hollow parts that are difficult to process by laminating them. For this reason, it is also used as a master for simple jigs and simple molds. In recent years, as stacking pitches have become finer and shape precision has improved, there has been an increase in the number of cases in which parts for final products are manufactured using 3D printers.
