Reed relay / List of 1 manufacturers
What is a Reed relay?
A reed relay is an electromagnetic switch that is actuated by passing an electric current through a drive coil. A combination of electromagnetic coils around one or more reed switches, consisting of a small relay that is opened and closed by electromagnetic force. The magnetic field generated by the coil mechanically actuates the contact, so compared to semiconductor switches, etc., there is very little leakage of current when not in operation. The input and output sides are independent and have no polarity, which helps reduce mistakes during installation. It also has the advantages of being resistant to pressure, having high insulating properties, being dust-proof, and not easily affected by external gases.
