What is a Meter relay?

A meter relay (British: Meter relay) is a device that outputs a contact while indicating a value as a meter gauge. They are often used in power and control systems. Also, you can visually check the value like a normal meter gauge. A typical meter gauge simply displays a number and has no control function. Meter relays can detect abnormal situations and take appropriate action. Therefore, it can respond quickly to system anomalies.
