What is a Penetrating screwdriver?
A penetrating screwdriver is a hand screwdriver that has a structure in which the metal shaft in contact with the screw penetrates through the grip. It is designed so that it can be used even if you hit the metal part behind the grip (called a washer or tail metal) with a hammer. The difference between a penetrating screwdriver and a screwdriver is that the screwdriver has a non-penetrating structure in which the metal shaft that turns the screw is stuck halfway through the grip, but the penetrating screwdriver, as the name suggests, has a structure that penetrates the grip. Using a regular screwdriver and hitting it with a hammer not only reduces the force applied to the screw, but also damages the screwdriver.
