A gear puller is a tool used to remove gears assembled in equipment and devices. By using the power of the screw to pull it out, you can easily remove even gears that have become rusty or deformed and cannot be removed by hand. There are two claws and three claws for hooking on the gear, and the three claws are more stable. The gear puller is also used to remove the timing pulley that hangs the belt in addition to the gear. This is sometimes called pulley removal.
