What is a Brake hose?
A brake hose is a hose that sends brake fluid to the brake cylinder of the wheel. The hydraulic pressure of the brake is transmitted to the wheels, and the vehicle is brought to a stop by the friction between the discs or drums on the wheel side and the brake pads. Rubber hoses are generally used, but some are covered with stainless steel braid or coated with PVC, making them more resistant to swelling and more durable than rubber. The structure of a brake hose consists of inner tube rubber, bobbin thread layer, intermediate rubber layer, upper thread layer, and outer rubber layer from the inside, and the types of rubber are all different. Nitrile rubber is used for the inner tube rubber as it comes in contact with the brake fluid. It is a material with excellent oil resistance and abrasion resistance. The outer rubber layer uses highly weather-resistant and durable rubber.
