What is a Stirring tank?
The stirring tank represents a tank for stirring. It is used to mix different types of solids, liquids, and gases by putting them in a stirring tank and stirring them. The structure consists of a motor, a reducer, a shaft seal, a shaft, a stirring blade, a baffle, and a stirring tank. The shape of the stirring tank is indicated by the ratio of the liquid level height to the tank inner diameter. Generally, a ratio of about 1.0 to 1.5 is considered to be efficient. If it is too thin, stirring up and down will not work well and a concentration gradient will easily occur, and if it is too thick, the tank diameter will become large and the tank will have to be thickened.
Application of Stirring tank
We will introduce related parts such as coils, jackets, baffles, and nozzles according to the usage of the stirring tank. When installing these parts, it is required that they do not interfere with the flow in the tank and that they are structurally strong. Coil and jacket are used for heating and cooling. Pass cooling water or steam through it. The baffle is responsible for adding vertical flow as well as horizontal flow with respect to the axis. It is also called an obstacle board. The effect can be seen by attaching about 2 to 8 sheets to the tank. Nozzles are often used to fill and drain liquid into and out of tanks. You can also bubbling by inserting gas from the nozzle at the bottom of the tank.
