What is a Common mode choke coil?

A common mode choke coil is a filter that reduces noise called common mode noise. Common mode noise is a type of noise that propagates through power lines and signal lines, and is characterized by the fact that it flows from the reference ground through the wiring board and back to the reference ground. A common mode choke coil contains an inductor inside, and when noise flows, it can cut off the flow instantly.
