What is a Spiral pipe?

A spiral pipe is a spiral steel pipe manufactured by winding a steel strip in a spiral and crimping both ends of the steel strip. Also known as spiral ducts, some use manufacturing methods such as pressing and deep drawing. The crimped part has high strength due to overlapping steel strips, and the crimped part runs spirally around the circumference of the pipe, increasing the strength of the entire pipe. Spiral pipes are often used as air conditioning ducts in building facility construction. Since the inner surface of the pipe is smooth, the pressure loss is very small, and installation work and pipe connection are easy. There are various materials such as hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, stainless steel, galvalume steel sheets, and PVC steel sheets.
