What is a Vacuum flange?

A vacuum flange is a part that is used to prevent gas leaks by covering the device when you want to create a vacuum environment inside the device. There are various standards such as NW, KF, ICF, JIS, etc., which are used according to the application. First of all, NW and KF standards are used for piping and joint parts used in the low to high vacuum range. A device called a coupling is inserted to fasten the flange. On the other hand, the ICF and JIS standards use bolts to fasten the flanges, so there is less gas leakage and a high degree of vacuum can be maintained.
