What is a Collet?
A collet is a cup-shaped part attached to rotating tools such as drills and milling machines. It is used to fix shaft-shaped tools, but it is mainly used in CNC lathes and transport loaders. The collet chuck of the main body is divided into a chuck unit and a collet, and the collet actually grips the workpiece. Unlike the 3-jaw scroll chuck that grips the workpiece at 3 points, the collet grips almost the entire circumference of the workpiece. It plays a very important role in accurately positioning the blades and blades at the tip of the tool. In addition, various sizes are available to accommodate tools of different sizes.
