What is a Tombstone?
A tombstone is a type of jig used in machining. It is an L-shaped or cubic jig for mounting the product to be processed in the direction perpendicular to the base surface. Each surface is made of high-quality flat surfaces without unevenness, and the L-shaped part and cube are precisely 90 degrees. Tombstones are equipped with tapped holes, through holes, slotted holes, etc. for attaching jig parts such as clampers and work guides, enabling a wide variety of processing for various products.
