What is a Linear stopper?
A linear stopper is a metal fitting that prevents the work plate, which is the mounting base for the work, from falling out of guide rails such as linear guides and slide rails, and positions the work plate. It is also called linear retainer or linear lock. Steel and stainless steel are used for the material of the linear stopper. There are also stoppers with urethane rubber or urethane rubber bolts that reduce the impact between the table and the stopper. S45C steel is quenched for materials such as bolts in the stopper to improve wear resistance.
