What is a Rough Guides?
A rough guide is one of the jig parts that fix products used in machine tools, assembly machines, inspection machines, etc. In a broader sense, it is used as a component for pre-determining the position to some extent before performing precise positioning. It is used when the worker sets the product on the jig, not when setting it by a robot etc. By using a rough guide, the product can be automatically fixed at a certain position, which has the advantage of speeding up precise positioning.
