What is a Slide guide?

A slide guide is a component that guides linear motion. In addition to slide guides, similar products are sold under the trade names of LM guides and linear guides. There are also products with encoders for use in precision equipment such as industrial robots. The main movement is that the block (movable pedestal) moves back and forth in a straight line along the rail (a straight column-shaped part). A slide guide is a block that moves back and forth repeatedly, follows the same path, and has less resistance to movement.
