What is a Dowel pin?
Dowel pins are jigs used to ensure assembly accuracy of industrial products. When dismantling and servicing industrial products, it is used in joints where assembly accuracy is particularly required. In addition to serving as a guide during joining, it also prevents misalignment during assembly and misalignment due to external impacts. Normally, a mechanical part is provided with a hole for a dowel pin, and after driving a dowel pin into one part, the other part is assembled. Generally, two dowel pins are used per joint.
