What is a Pillow ball?

A pillow ball is a metal part used in mechanisms called joints such as suspensions and stabilizers that absorb shock and vibration. Pillow balls are also known as spherical joints, and they work like multi-directional joints in addition to simple rotation and linear motion. Conventionally, parts called rubber bushes are used as receivers for suspensions, etc., but pillow balls are often used to increase strength and performance.
