What is a Die set?
A die set is a jig and tool for fixing a die to a press machine for plastic working. The upper and lower die sets are connected by guide posts to support the vertical motion of the press machine with respect to the die. By changing the mold to be installed, it is possible to perform plastic processing for multiple processes and products with different specifications. Since it serves as a guide, the concentricity and coaxiality are accurate, and molds and other parts can be easily replaced.
