What is a Cooling coil?

A cooling coil is a cooling part used in a heat exchanger, and is made of spirally shaped piping. The shape is generally spiral, but other shapes are available and designed according to the equipment and purpose. Refrigerant for cooling the object flows in the piping of the cooling coil, but water is mainly used as the refrigerant. As the refrigerant flowing through the cooling coil is warmed by heat exchange, the temperature of this refrigerant must be reduced. For this purpose, it is often used together with a chiller.

Application of Cooling coil

Cooling coils are used to adjust the water temperature of the water tank, and are useful in lowering the temperature of the water tank when the water temperature rises due to a rise in temperature, such as in the summer.
