What is a shell and tube heat exchanger?

A shell and tube heat exchanger is one of the shapes of heat exchangers. Also known as a shell-and-tube heat exchanger, a large number of thin tubes (tubes) are arranged in a thick cylindrical body (shell) to increase the installation area, and heat is exchanged between the fluid flowing in the body and the fluid in the tubes.
