What is a Thermal grease?
Heat dissipation grease is a thermally conductive grease used to efficiently dissipate heat from electronic devices and mechanical components. It is commonly applied to equipment that requires heat dissipation, such as CPUs, power electronics, and LED lights. The grease fills the microscopic gaps between components and improves thermal conduction at the contact surfaces, allowing heat to be effectively transferred and released. This helps prevent overheating and ensures stable operation of the equipment. Heat dissipation grease is typically made from ingredients such as metal or ceramic powders, silicone oils, and is widely used for various thermal management applications.
Application of Thermal grease
✅CPU Cooling
Heat dissipation grease is applied to computer CPUs to improve thermal conductivity, allowing heat to transfer more effectively from the CPU to the heat sink. This helps prevent overheating and ensures stable CPU performance.
✅LED Light Heat Dissipation
High-power LED lights generate significant heat, and heat dissipation grease is used to improve thermal conduction between the LED chip and heat sink. This helps extend the lifespan of the LED light and maintain consistent brightness.
✅Power Supply Unit (PSU) Cooling
Power supply units (PSUs) contain components that generate significant heat. Heat dissipation grease is used to efficiently dissipate this heat, preventing overheating and extending the lifespan of the PSU.
