Peltier module / List of 7 manufacturers
What is a Peltier module?
A Peltier module is a thermoelectric device that transfers heat using electricity, functioning as a thermoelectric cooling element. The module consists of multiple semiconductor materials (typically bismuth telluride compounds) connected in series. When an electric current is passed through the module, heat is transferred from one side to the other, causing one side to cool and the other to heat up. This cooling effect is used in applications like computer CPU cooling, portable coolers, and small refrigeration systems. Peltier modules have no moving parts, making them highly efficient and silent. However, effective heat management is essential, as poor heat dissipation can cause the module to overheat, reducing its performance.
Application of Peltier module
✅Portable Refrigerators
Used in small refrigerators and coolers, providing cooling effects that are useful for camping or in cars.
✅CPU Cooling in Computers
In high-performance computers, Peltier modules may be used as part of the cooling system to prevent overheating of the CPU.
✅Temperature Control Devices
In precise experiments or research requiring temperature control, Peltier modules can be used to make fine adjustments in temperature.
