What is a Programmable Logic Device?
A PLD (Programmable Logic Device) is an integrated circuit (IC) that allows users to program digital circuits after manufacturing. This enables designers to configure logic circuits flexibly and customize them according to specific applications. PLDs implement specific functions by programming digital components such as logic gates and flip-flops.
PLDs are typically divided into the following types:
１．CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device): Suitable for implementing relatively small circuits.
２．FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array): Provides high flexibility and is capable of implementing large-scale circuits.
