What is a Crushing machine?
A crusher is a machine that crushes an object by rotating a roller with a blade. There are various models from small ones that crush a small amount of rocks, wood, fruits, etc. for experiments to industrial ones for disposing of concrete and waste materials. There is a crusher as a similar one, but the one that uses a reducer (gear) and is applied to an object of 20 mm or more is generally called a crusher. The reducer increases the torque and can crush large and hard objects. For this reason, the crusher may be used as a pretreatment for the crusher. Since the rotor made of stainless steel is rotated and crushed like chewing an object, the rotation speed of the rotor and the fineness of the blade are important. At first, rotate the coarse blade at a low speed for a test run, crush it little by little, and watch the situation while gradually replacing it with a fine blade.
Application of Crushing machine
Crushers are mainly used to roughly crush hard objects. If it is to be crushed into powder, it must be crushed and then processed with a crusher. Crushing the material used for extraction and reaction increases the surface area per volume, which increases extraction efficiency and reaction rate. Also, since the bulk is reduced, crushing is effective when you want to reduce the storage space. However, there are some disadvantages of crushing, such as crushing a sample that is easily oxidized in the air makes it easier for oxidation to proceed. Judgment according to the sample is required.
