What is a Rubber molding?
Rubber molding is the processing of a polymer substance with rubber elasticity called rubber and its material into a specific shape using a mold or the like. Rubber molding includes compression molding, transfer molding, and injection molding, which use a mold for molding. Thermoplastic resin called elastomer, which is one of the rubber materials, has the physical characteristics of rubber at room temperature and plastic at high temperature. In the molding of elastomer, it is possible to mold by combining different materials or insert molding by setting parts such as metal in the mold.
