What is a Hydraulic press machine?
It is a machine that installs a sheet metal material such as thin aluminum or stainless steel on the table of the machine and applies pressure from above to transform it into the shape of the attached mold. It is a press that operates a hydraulic pump by a motor and moves up and down by the oil sent to the hydraulic cylinder. Long strokes are possible, higher pressure than mechanical type, machining speed adjustment is possible, and the relief valve, which is the mechanism of the hydraulic system, does not cause overload, but maintenance is troublesome, so mechanical presses are now common. It is a target. The types of processing include shearing (cutting), bending, drawing, punching (punching), and forging, and the processing time is only a few seconds, making it suitable for mass production. It is also called a suppression machine. Mechanical presses are generally used because they do not require oil or pump replacement, are not affected by temperature, are quiet, do not require the installation of hydraulic units, and have a high production speed.
Application of Hydraulic press machine
In the automobile body and parts of the automobile industry, large press machines are lined up and used in the line process. It is also used for processing long chassis frames for pickup trucks, trucks, buses, etc. It is also used in the manufacture of 3D processed parts for information equipment and home appliances. It is also used for large stamping of large building materials and turbine rotors for power generation. Deep wrinkles are more likely to occur on the bottom of sinks and stainless steel containers in sinks, but hydraulic presses are used because the stroke can be set longer and the pressure can be maintained and adjusted unlike the mechanical type. Forming a carbon fiber composite is extremely difficult, but there are some that control the hydraulic system with a servomotor instead of a hydraulic pump to improve accuracy and speed.
