Desktop lathe / List of 3 manufacturers
What is a Desktop lathe?
A lathe is a machine that rotates a material such as metal to be machined and slowly applies a metal blade (bite) to the surface of the material to cut it into a cylindrical shape. Since commercial lathes are large and expensive, tabletop lathes are small and can be used on a table top. The tabletop lathe is large and consists of a bed, a spindle, a tool post, and a tailstock.
Application of Desktop lathe
Desktop lathes are often used when machining hard materials such as metal because they can be machined with a cutting tool on rotating materials. It is easy for individuals to handle, and desktop lathes are sold by various manufacturers. Like a normal lathe, we are good at machining cylindrical shapes. Desktop lathes are very effective in situations where drilling or screwing is required. Originally, lathes have been used in the manufacturing of machines such as automobiles, aircraft, and construction machinery, but with the advent of tabletop lathes, it has become possible to machine in more familiar situations.
