What is a FPD exposure system?
The FPD exposure device was applied to the mother glass for liquid crystal panel production through a lens after irradiating the original photomask on which the TFT circuit pattern of the thin film transistor was drawn in a flat panel display (FPD), that is, a liquid crystal panel (LCD). A device that exposes a TFT circuit pattern on a photoresist. Due to the nature of forming the TFT circuit of the liquid crystal panel, it is necessary to repeat the exposure multiple times, and in recent years, the size of the mother glass for production has increased, and the number of pixels of the liquid crystal panel per screen exceeds 8 million 4K. Since 8 million x RGB (color filter consisting of three colors of red, green and blue) forms more than 24 million TFT circuits, excellent productivity and exposure accuracy corresponding to these are required.
Application of FPD exposure system
Since FPD exposure equipment is an exposure equipment used for manufacturing liquid crystal panels, it covers a wide range from general monitors such as personal computers, tablets, and mobile phones, which are monitors for liquid crystal panels, to in-vehicle, aircraft monitors, and medical monitors.
